Allergen Information

Last reviewed: 8 October 2026

If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please check the information for your dish before paying.
If anything is unclear, call O Genki on 07577 506507 before you order. Please do not use the general order-note box to communicate an allergy.

Before you order

Each menu item shows the UK 14 allergens we have confirmed from the current recipe and ingredient information. O Genki prepares broths, sauces and seasoning combinations in our kitchen as part of our own recipes. We show the allergen outcome that matters to you rather than publishing supplier brand lists or private recipes.

What you will see on the menu

Contains means the allergen is confirmed in the recipe or one of its ingredients. May contain is shown only where the current ingredient information supports that warning. If anything is still being checked, we say so rather than guessing.

The 14 regulated allergens

Celery; cereals containing gluten; crustaceans; eggs; fish; lupin; milk; molluscs; mustard; peanuts; sesame; soybeans; sulphur dioxide and sulphites above the legal threshold; and tree nuts.

Shared fryer and cross-contact

Where a shared fryer or supplier precaution creates a relevant cross-contact risk, the menu shows this as May contain / cross-contact. O Genki uses separate left and right fryer wells and separate baskets for the defined product groups, but fried food is not presented as gluten-free.

When you collect

Allergen information remains available when your food is supplied. If a recipe, ingredient or substitution has changed, please ask us before taking or eating the food so we can check the current information with you.

Special preparation requests

If you need a preparation change because of an allergy, contact O Genki before ordering. A request is only accepted when O Genki has explicitly confirmed what can safely be done. If we cannot safely meet the request, the order should not proceed on that basis.

Privacy

The checkout records only the neutral fact that the allergen-information step was completed. It does not store why you reviewed the information or any health diagnosis. Please do not put diagnoses or detailed medical information in the general order-note field.

Official guidance: Food Standards Agency allergen guidance.
